This Committee’s mission is to improve the health of Oklahomans by working in collaboration with communities and stakeholders to identify injury problems, and then develop, implement, and evaluate environmental modifications, policy, and educational interventions. 

 

Community Activities:

• Currently working towards establishing a Pathways SafeKids coalition

 

• Conduct health education presentations to civic organizations, churches, businesses and schools throughout the year.

 

• Host car set safety events

 

• Conduct smoke alarm canvassing per county during the year
