Hello, my friends! Who is with me here, excited about the upcoming holiday season? All the fun starts in late November, when we celebrate our Thanksgiving! Soon before we know it, we are attending/hosting the parties and social events. Holiday home cooked food is my particular favorite for the holiday season. I love spending time searching for interesting unique recipes and make them for the holiday, which many people think the name of the recipes sound very “odd” but ended up being surprisingly delicious! For every holiday, I don’t have a bunch of families and friends to cook for, but I still feel like celebrating it, so I made all the classic dishes in small portions with a tweak of the recipes. If you are like me, trying to celebrate the holiday with mouthwatering homemade meals without many people to cook for, this is the place for you. If you are cooking for big families and friends, we can work on double/triple up the recipes.
What is best about the recipes that I am about to share with you? 1) We will be mostly using seasonal ingredients; 2) Easy to follow, less hassle recipes are generally shared; 3) Tested and tasted by me prior to sharing; 4) Healthier YET tasty recipes are shared.
Roasted Turkey Breast with Blueberry Balsamic Glaze: I shared this recipe last yesterday around this time of the year. This recipe pairs turkey breast with sweet tangy blueberry balsamic glaze. I remember I was surprised with how easy it is to cook a roasted turkey breast with a complex good flavor that could melt anyone’s heart. The recipe is adapted from Feasting at home.

Baked Beans with Butternut Squash Sauce, Kale, and Burrata: First off, let me tell you how flavorful this baked beans dish is! I made it twice within a week to share with different groups of friends. They were (prior to me sharing the dish with them) doubted about butternut squash sauce pairs with baked beans. This recipe proved them wrong (in a positive way). It is great to serve this baked bean dish with sourdough country loaf bread, also try not to skip crispy garlic slices and crispy sage! I highly recommend this heavenly dish recipe for this holiday season! The recipe is adapted from Feasting at home.

Apple Crisp: Looking for a healthier dessert idea for this holiday? This apple crisp recipe is so darn easy yet tasty! It has been suggested to me, this apple crisp pairs very well with vanilla ice cream, but if you are monitoring your TOTAL carbohydrate intake as well as calorie intake, just skip it. It tastes ABSOLUTELY perfect without the ice cream (proved by my taste buds)! The recipe is adapted from Feasting at home.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chips Muffins: How can we miss pumpkin during PUMPKIN season? These special pumpkin muffins are packed with warm pumpkin flavor, spices, and elevated with additional crunchy texture of pecan and gooey chocolate! It is a MUST-HAVE pumpkin muffin recipe for you. The recipe is inspired by Baker by Nature.

~Hope you all have fun trying the recipes! Happy November y’all!
